Hello dearest readers!
We are back after our month long vacation AKA drinking pumpkin spice lattes while eating pumpkin spice bread with a scoop of pumpkin spice ice cream and shopping for pumpkin decorations while wearing pumpkin themed shirts.
Just kidding. Kind of.
However, we DID read all the wonderful submissions and are happy to be back with some great work!
The deadline for ebook submissions is over, but stay tuned. We are looking to publish the ebook sometime in the beginning of December, but we will announce the exact date on Twitter, Facebook and on our site. It’s gonna be good. We can barely contain ourselves. But alas, we still have work to do…
ALSO, we are excited to announce that we will start accepting artwork for the weekly online post. We loved the artwork we received so much that we want to continue to show off some talented lady artists/photographers. So spread the word and send us your best art and photography!
Also, we have nominated Tessa Foley’s “Tomato Heart” and Beth Knaus’s “What Remains” for the Pushcart Prize! If you haven’t read them yet, you can find them here and here. Congratulations to both of these talented ladies!
Enjoy your fall and stay tuned for more Dying Dahlia goodness.
