Nest – Monica Flegg

poems

Nest

We squabble over the
temperature
and Nest documents our
disagreement.

He moves it up,
and I move
it
down.

This happened three
separate
times on October 30
alone.

It’s going to
be a long winter
nesting
together.

Monica Flegg lives on Nantucket Island. Her passions are words and water; she spends a lot of time submerged in both.  Her writing has been published in numerous journals including Ruminate, Mothers Always Write, Rat’s Ass Review and Unbroken.
